Dark Realms Lord Of The Winds Walkthrough

OK, so we mostly did this quest up above in the previous section. In fact, we just have one brazier left to complete this, so lets knock it out.

Head to your boat after the last quest and make this quest your active one. We're going for a 500-meter trip to the south, so you may get a lore story and should try to pick up any gold and hacksilver on the way.

As you follow the marker, you'll find a new beach head with the Yggdrasil's Dew of Strength near it. Get the dew drop and land on the beach to find the 'Cliffs of the Raven Boat Dock'.

Grab the Hacksilver from the corpse here and go left to the gate. You can lower it here and use your Leviathan Axe to hit the two fleshy orbs here (use R2) and free up the area, but we can't get the Winds of Hel here yet. We'll be back for them.

Mar 01, 2020  The Dark World is a dimension parallel to the kingdom Hyrule, (ALttP FSA) which is referred to as being a part the Light World in contrast, and a corrupted incarnation of the Sacred Realm. The Dark World debuted in A Link to the Past, making it the first of many realms alternate to Hyrule to appear in the series, the latter being Termina, the Twilight Realm, the World of the Ocean King,.

Walkthrough

Head to the right of the area now and hit the fleshy orb so we can get up the chain (note the door nearby that we need the Winds of Hel for). Go left up here under the rock and turn left around it when you can and look up for a fleshy orb you can cut down for some Hacksilver. Turn around and climb up the ledge behind you, getting the fleshy orb to your left and some Hacksilver by a corpse. Jump the gap up here (note the winds holder) to reach a Nornir chest. Go past it for now and drop down the ledge on the left you find (note all the wind holders around this area!). Now that we are back on the ground, you can go down the slopes near the chest and cut the fleshy orbs to free up two different gates leading downwards, making shortcuts for ourselves.

OK, let's get into a brawl now. Head out to the wide open area next and you'll be ambushed by some enemies we haven't seen in awhile: two Dark Elves and a Dark Elf Lord. The Lord is the hard fight here, so try and take out the smaller elves first (use your Murder of Crows summon and Executioner Cleave one to take him out quickly and use relics on the last one). The Lord is much rougher, as he has more health and defense and can shoot those mines at you that will result in darkness if you get hit by them. Dodge his lunging attacks and make him pay after each one, shooting arrows into him when you can to help out.

Once they are dead, check out this wide area to see it is a giant who dies here. Our last Brazier (Lore Marker [17/37]) is in the back! We may as well finish this off, right? Go ahead and have Atreus read it to start our last fight for this favor. This fight is pretty cool. It starts off with a fight against two Tatzelwurm enemies, so be sure to guard their attack as they emerge and take them out quickly (pepper with arrows while you attack to finish one off easily). While you are fighting, another Tatzelwurm will show up with a Viken. Try to focus on the Tatzelwurms first and take them out as the Viken is rather slow. He's not much of a threat either, but he can heal his health, so kill the cat-lizards and then focus on him to take them all out.

Go ahead and talk to the spirit now for your Corrupted Remnant and some dialog. And with that, the Unfinished Business: Spirits Feed [4/4] side quest is complete, giving us a chunk of XP for completing the favor. While we have indeed finished it, let's finish exploring here as there's more goodies to be had!

From the brazier, head left following the wall to see some runes. Break the boards above the runes and Atreus can be boosted up here and will let a chain down for us. Head up it and open the coffin here for a Symbol of Shadows and check the corpse nearby to get the Abandoned Ship Artifact [7/9].

Go down the chain now and head down the slope nearby, then up the ledge on the right. STOP here and look to your left. On the stone wall across the way you can find Odin's Raven [30/51]. Tricky bugger!

Drop down the ledge to your right to a corpse with some Hacksilver and head further down. There's a tunnel leading to the beach here and a climb-able wall on the right. Take the wall first as it's actually a dead end, but there's a chest here with some Hacksilver and a World Serpent Scale +1.

Now, right before the tunnel, on the wall to the left is a Winds of Hel point. Find it and go down into the tunnel now. Get the Hacksilver here and get the Winds of Hel on your blade, then take it to the holder outside the tunnel and to the right. This actually opens up the gate here.

Head through the gate and past the chest above you, climbing up the wall to the same ground the chest is. Go past the chest now and look for a wall you can jump to. Easy. Jump the gap by the gate and you can see the Winds easily from here. Remember this spot (we'll be back), but for now grab the Hacksilver next to the corpse and climb up the chain. There's a chest up here you can break for some Hacksilver and a World Serpent Scale +1. Jump the gap here, kick down the chain (climb back up it) and move onward to the next ledge up ahead. Kick down the chain here (climb back up) and punch open the nearby chest for some more Hacksilver and a World Serpent Scale +1.

OK, time for this chest puzzle. Go back to the winds (the spot we mentioned earlier) and what you are going to do (don't do it yet!) is get the Winds and jump the gap to your left, then put the winds in the rune stone. However, before you do that note the rune holder behind you. We'll be using that quickly afterwards!

What this does is it rotates the runes. Onle one rune is right, but it's good to know what it does. You want to pull the wind out when the right rune shows up. This is made harder because you are supposed to reference the chest below and pick out the right rune, but thankfully you have this guide!

Pull the wind out when it shows the rune with the arrow pointing to the right.

You will want to immediately jump the gap now and put the winds in that right wind holder. Now, you can go back down to the chest and you'll see one of the runes is unlocked. The last two are a horizontal 'N' and an 'R'.

We can get the Winds of Hel from the chest now and put it in the rune holder to the right. DO NOT worry about this rune yet (it will be our last one). Instead, climb the chain nearby and get the wind from below and put it into the rune holder up here. Pull the wind out when it is an 'R' rune.

After that, put the wind down below. Climb down and pull the wind out when it is the horizontal 'N' shape and put the wind in the holder back by the chest. Speaking of which, the Nornir Chest [14/17] is now open and you can open it for the Horn of Blood Mead [8/9]. Only one left! We also get the Sturdy Sigil of Heart and some Solid Svartalfheim Steel +5. Not bad.

OK, only one more thing to do: opening the Winds of Hel door down by the beach. From the chest, head forwards and slightly right. You can jump a gap here, but before you do you can find a Winds Holder just below the ledge (it's hard to see, but the holder is easily within 10 seconds). Go ahead and move the winds there. Now, jump the gap and jump down and look to the right. On the giant rock wall above the beach is another holder. It's a short trip for the Winds, but go ahead and move them to this one. Now you can simply head down to the beach and use the winds to unlock the door, which leads to a Legendary Chest [14/26] with the Grips of the Cursed Flame in them, which aren't bad at all (you should likely either use this or the Valkyrie one).

And with that, this small chunk of land is fully explored and the 'Unfinished Business' Labor is complete. That's it for this section!
